you’d think since dick was a mathlete hed b the number one guy to ask for help w math homework but actually he knows so much advanced math that the first time tim asked him for help with a simple geometry problem he pulled out his dusty ti-84 and started solving it in the most convoluted way that took an hour bc he was also just trying to relearn the math he hadn��t done in like 5 years. cue him screaming in frustration when he realized the actual way to do it would’ve taken him 2 minutes (tim asked him at the beginning if that way was right and he waved him off saying no) none of the batsibs can ask him for math help until they get to pre-calculus at least

Ok you know what, no

You know what also doesn't make sense?? People are translating or clarifying the offer katsuki made and saying he was asking Izuku to be a SIDEKICK, and not open/partner at an agency.

But you know what, that doesn't really make sense either!

Bc they're also saying that in the MHA universe, sidekicks do not get hero ranked. And in the case of being katsukis sidekick, Izuku would be working under Katsuki.

So hold up!

You mean to tell me that Katsuki, who wanted to compete with Izuku, and race him to the top, who has long, LONG since gotten over his desire to put Izuku in his place/lord over him/boss him around,

Why would he want Izuku in a position where he couldn't compete on an equal ground? That was what he always wanted and worked for.

I'm just saying it's fucking weird that thats what katsuki asked for, because that's not what Katsuki has been trying to work for.

Isn't Katsuki wanting him to be a sidekick under him kind of defeating the purpose of his development, of the whole 8 hear process he went through to get Izuku back out into the field? Is this not inconsistent?

NO WAIT!

DEFINITELY CONFIRMED: NOT!SAKURA SAW THEIR FUTURE LIVES AS WELL. SHE IS REFERRING TO THEIR FUTURE CONVERSATION ABOUT GOING BACK IN TIME TO SAVE THEM BOTH. 

So, Not!Sakura has seen both of Sakura’s lifetimes play out right up until now. 

Which! On the plus side means she kind of knows more than anyone else in the Jam Jar. She has ALL of Sakura’s knowledge, from both lives, AND she’s the only one who knows everything that happened in the original timeline before Lava Lamp showed up. 

What an interesting perspective she must have - to watch all these events play out for so many years and only find out much later that anyone was trying to save HER, the original “Sakura”. She must have found out between Acid Tokyo and Infinity, when our Sakura did (through her visions), but that still leaves 7+ years of not knowing if anyone ever knew about her existence at all. 

On the other hand! This also means she has the exact experiences of Lava Lamp’s mother, which will make her conversations with Lava Lamp very unusual to say the least. Like, she will remember him as a child between the ages of 7 and 14, in the original timeline - and then also have full memory of falling in love with his clone and giving birth to Lava Lamp himself too (unless that was Syaoran, which is also possible, thank you Kodansha).

No matter how you navigate that circumstance she’s kind of his mother also.

It is interesting how much math comes into even the most basic of like. Making things. Making almost anything. And often not numbers necessarily but proportions and geometry. I think all the time about how castles were built with geometry at the heart of it. And I use the same kind of proportional math to make socks fit. And none of my pieces are ever knit with a prime number of stitches--because you use factors to make neat colorwork and ribbing and different stitches. Idk ! I remember constantly thinking 'how the hell is THIS gonna come in useful ?' But it always does. Math is at the heart of everything, and knowing how to apply it is a tool of critical importance to Thinking Up A Shape And Making It.
